Block B is made up of five buildings, which can be clearly made out. The original industrial facility has been turned into 27 flats of varying sizes and with different interior layouts. Given the conformation and size of the building as a whole, the layout used for the individual flats is consequently rather varied: on the ground floor, 7 units have their own private entrance while the remaining units, with a block-type arrangement, are positioned around four communal staircases. The building houses 12 single-level flats and 14 duplex units. The internal stairs leading to the flats will be built with a tubular metal supporting structure coupled with wooden treads and risers and a structural glass parapet (the same solution adopted for block A). The galleries are lit by velux roof windows. |
