Block A is made up of four buildings, which are still recognizable as such. Originally warehouse-style buildings, these four units have been turned into 13 duplex flats that, in addition to the two levels, have a good-sized space built into the attic. A series of velux roof windows provide the gallery areas with light and ventilation. The flats are arranged with a modular layout: the lounge-cum-dining room, which is open to the kitchenette, is on the ground floor, along with the central staircase positioned against the load-bearing wall and a small downstairs bathroom; one or two bedrooms are located on the first floor with the bathroom between them opposite the stairs; the gallery houses a room that can be used for storage or as an additional bedroom. |
